I am Alejandra.

My name is Alejandra and I am a writer, director, producer, creative.

I was born in Mexicali, Baja California, raised in the deserts of Arizona, and am based in Los Angeles, California. I attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a full-ride scholarship from Robert Redford and the Unique Voice Initiative.

I was a Staff Writer on SELENA: THE SERIES, Part 2 on Netflix, have written for New York Times’ Podcast, MODERN LOVE, an Associate Producer for Emmy-Nominated Documentary production company, FUNMETER, and have self-published a zine called ALTURA - with it’s current issue highlighting Ballroom in Los Angeles, California.

I’ve directed short narratives; from music videos, commercials, and short films, and have even designed journals for the DIY Film School.

I use my storytelling instincts to explore humanity through themes of found-families, identity, and loss of innocence.
